I love imagining the reaction if you were to ask about everyone's best picks. Due to the size of the industry and how it can really accommodate different kinks, undoubtedly they'd all be different! :)Nico Jayehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07201515471866539244noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3264013604678291388.post-3578863759346334112014-11-14T16:58:40.025-08:002014-11-14T16:58:40.025-08:00Sara, your points are so on point! :) Yes, it'...Sara, your points are so on point! :) Yes, it's a safe and healthy way to explore potential desires, sexuality, and kinks, and it's arguably artistic, as well. Sexual expression is artistic expression, right? Losing grip with reality is definitely a danger, but that seems to be the case generally with a number of entertainment sources, too (e.g., playing a video game for 24 hours straight).

The viewing party sounds awesome - I hope you have a fabulous time!Nico Jayehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07201515471866539244noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3264013604678291388.post-70061359582386155242014-11-14T16:32:15.033-08:002014-11-14T16:32:15.033-08:00Oooh, I'm reading Sara Tesstarossa's comme...Oooh, I'm reading Sara Tesstarossa's comment here and my little ears pricked at 'porn with plot'! That's something I would definitely like to hear more about! :-)

What a refreshing take on the discussion, here, Nico! Your stats here surprised me initially but after I thought about it a bit, it made perfect sense. And yes, when done right, the porn industry is just another job.. Now you have me wanting to know what everyone's best picks are! :-)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3264013604678291388.post-40659719320296919042014-11-13T11:20:22.301-08:002014-11-13T11:20:22.301-08:00I love the song "The Internet is for Porn&quo...I love the song "The Internet is for Porn" and I'm glad you referenced that in this post! You're right, there are so many directions we could go for this blog hop (I'm not done writing my post, wanted to read other people's first so I wouldn't be too repetitive, and just because I wanted to see what others had to say). Anyway, porn is an important industry, and you're right, when done right, it's just another career. And so many people consume it (heck, I'm going to a viewing party for a feature length porn with plot movie tomorrow night with friends). And it fills a societal desire and can be a healthy outlet for people to explore their sexuality. There are some issues with it (like you said, exploitation exists in every career, and also, a small portion of people become so invested in porn and prefer it to reality - see the movie Don Jon as an example). But in general? It's a good thing, I think. Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
