About Me

I'm a Wall Street an ex-Wall Street lawyer seeking to expand my horizons by flexing those long-dormant creative muscles.  For more on my current state of voluntary unemployment, check out my recent blog post relating to that decision here.

As for my creative muscles, well, reading romance stories has been a passion of mine for many years, so the next step was naturally to try my hand at writing one. When a romance group of which I'm a member recently had a call for authors, I raised my hand.  Since then, I've been writing regularly and was fortunate enough to have a few of my stories accepted for publication (yes, I was shocked, too!), so I guess you could say I've pretty much dived into the deep end with this author stuff.  I recently was interviewed by the editor of the Going for Gold anthology, which can be found here if you'd like to know more about me.

I'm also a little bit kitty cat obsessive, and my pen name just may have been (mis)appropriated from my feline cohabitant, Nico. *grins* Join me (and Nico) as we take on the big bad world of aspiring authordom.

If you have any questions, comments, suggestions, or words of encouragement, you can reach me by leaving a comment on this blog or contacting me via email at nicojaye(at)gmail.com. You can also find me on Twitter @nicojaye or through my Goodreads author page.
